Westwood Arms Apartment community is a 76 unit property located in New Bern, NC. Westwood Arms is for Elderly Families defined as a household in which the head, co-head, or spouse is age 62 or older or a head, co-head or spouse who is disabled and under the age of 62. We offer 1 bedroom apartments , each unit has an emergency alarm system that can be activated from the bedroom or bathroom. Each apartment has new windows, front doors, storm doors and private patio. We offer an on-site laundry center along with a large community room with computer access for our residents’ use. Management is on site and 24 hour maintenance personnel is provided. We offer many activities throughout the year to promote community and fellowship. We are subsidized under the section 8 program through the US Department of HUD.
