Westminster Annual Conference Info

The 2016 Annual Conference is fast approaching!  Below is some important information for all attendees.  I’ve also attached this information in case you’d like to print it out. 

 Our conference will be held once again at the fantastic Kingston Plantation, Myrtle Beach, SC.  Information on the Kingston, including directions, is available by calling (843) 449-0006 or on their website at www.kingstonplantation.com.

Check in will be held on Sunday, May 21, with a Welcome Reception later that evening, and  sessions being held Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23.  Wednesday, May 24 will be our travel day.  Make sure that you check in at the Westminster Company Registration Desk between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm on Sunday.  Those not registered will not be eligible for prizes given out during the conference, and we have a bunch!!  Hotel check-in begins at 4:00 pm.  Everyone will check into the hotel at the Embassy Suites Check In Desk. 

 Your Westminster Company Employee ID Badges will be required at the conference, so be prepared.  If you need a new ID card, please notify Christy Flinchum in the Greensboro Corporate Office.

 The Seventh Annual Westminster Company Conference 5K Walk/Run will begin at 3:30 pm on Sunday, May 21.  If you registered, please meet in the Embassy Suites Parking lot.  If you’re not participating, come out and cheer on your fellow employees!

 The Welcome Reception and Vendor Show will be held Sunday night in the Kensington Ballroom in the Embassy Suites Hotel.  Attire for the reception is casual.  There will be lots of fun activities and prizes!  You must be present to be eligible to win the prizes.  And don’t forget your business cards for vendor drawings!  

Classes will begin promptly at 8:30 am on Monday.  A breakfast buffet will be served in the Embassy Suites restaurant prior to classes on Monday AND Tuesday.  Be sure to start your day off right with a good breakfast!  Lunch on Monday and Tuesday will be held in the Palmettos Pavilion, which is located just outside of the Embassy Suites Hotel near the pool deck.

 For training sessions, take note of your “Track Number” when you receive your agenda at registration.  Dress for classes on both days is business casual. 

 Be prepared for an extremely informative day of training on Monday, followed by an evening of FREE TIME!!  You can shop, golf or just hang out!  Just be sure you enjoy yourself!  

 On Tuesday, class sessions will again promptly at 8:30 am.  Tuesday night will be the Annual Awards Banquet.  Dress to impress!
